CALICO CAT

Originally, Calico referred to a fabric printed with a pattern of small flowers. Later, Calico was used to describe a multi-colored cat. The Calico cat is thought to bring good luck and fortune to the homes and families that adopt them. In the 1870s, Calico cats were named the official symbol of fortune in Japan.
